Taylor's Youtube channel surpassed 100,000 subscribers within two weeks. Taylor ceased to produce videos, and then put them up on private. Her main reasons were technical issues, new equipment problems, and she felt overwhelmed by her fame. Following a long hiatus of about a month Taylor began to make videos again, including the very famous ASMR 10 Triggers to Help You Sleep (35 million views by august 2022). ASMR 10 Triggers To Help You Sleep was the second video she posted in July 2017that has been viewed 38 million times as of August 2022. Following the milestone of 1 million YouTube subscribers, she was included in an interview with Shane Dawson interview in August 2017. Wired UK estimates that her YouTube advertising revenues were $1,000 per week in February 2019.

Dennis Helfer and Elaine Helfer are the parents of Helfer. Her parents are of German, English, Swedish and Norwegian heritage. She studied at the William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler located in Alberta. She had three sisters. Tammy, Tara, and Trena also worked with her at the farm where she worked on her grain. When she was 17 a modeling scout from an agency discovered Helfer while waiting in line for a cinema.
